Ventriloquist, Imperceptibly quiet, Deadly aim, Master of camouflage, Master of trapping
Profession:
Hermit, Trapper
Background:
Henry Hart was the founder of Hart's Mill before the apocalypse. He was a trustworthy and kind gentleman. Hart was looked upon by the community his mill supported as a father-figure of sorts and, as Hart had no real family, the community was his family. As a businessman, he was known for his shrewd, but fair attitude and stellar ethics. Hart brought a sense of humility and decency with him every day he ran Hart's Mill. He cared about every employee and was on a first name basis with most. When the catastrophe happened that brought down his mill, the community turned their back on him. Within a week the community that so loved Hart, hated him. They wanted blood and Hart was the only one to cut.
After the community demonized Hart, the broken man withdrew into his condemned mill, never to be seen from again. The apocalypse came and passed without disturbing much of Hart's Mill, or Henry Hart. Sooner or later scavengers and random travelers began to stop by. Some would have a night's rest at the mill and not be disturbed once, others, however, had a much different experience; some would report hearing whispers from shadowed corners and lofts, some would be shot through the legs and tortured just to be let go and left for dead, and even others would just disappear all together. Survivors would always have few details concerning their attacker, but the one consistency was that the man stalking them would refer to the mill as "his".
Although it has been many years since the original Henry Hart was last seen, people seem to think that he still lurks in the shadows of Hart's Mill, unable to leave the community that left him. Is this man the original Henry Hart--forsaken and unable to rest eternally until he finds peace from the community that abandoned him, or is this man a random Highwayman-turned psychopath.
